Focusing on the challenges in sponsoring work visas in the US (H1B, L1petitions), pit falls and remedies, the workshop will deal with:

  2. What USCIS is looking for and how to provide the relevant information and documents.
  3. How to file an approvable work permit.
  4. The Do's and Don’ts.

The workshop will also cover the following points:         

  1. Establishing Right to Control and the existence of an Employer-Employee relationship.
  2. Challenges of utilizing intermediate vendor companies.
  3. Establishing the existence and duration of Specialty Occupation work.
  4. Department of Labor certification process (LCA or PERM)
  5. Meeting the educational requirements
  6. Discuss the documentation required for in-house projects
  7. Maintaining office space: virtual offices, PO boxes, etc.
  8. 6 year H1/L1 limit
  9. Discussion on  AC21 issues
  10. Discussion on the positive and negative attributes of each case and why
