Film direction and screenplay writing workshop:
Everybody loves films. While all of us look at the actors in the film and appreciate the film, why not learn what goes on behind the screen? This is what our workshop aims to teach you. The film direction and screenplay writing workshop is a writer and director’s perspective upon filmmaking. This workshop informs the students about the craft of writing a script for films/television/ advertisements. This course provides training in basics of direction and screenplay writing. We do not have any restrictions on who can join this workshop. Anyone who is passionate about filmmaking can join this workshop.
The topics covered in this workshop are:
- Introduction to direction
- Three c’s of writing
- On set work of assistant Directors
- Screenplay writing
- Making a bound script
- Director’s role in a film set
Date and venue of the workshop:
The workshop will be happening on 23rd, February 2019 at Visualite Academy, No.16/106, A I Block,4th Street Opp. Anna Adarsh College for Women,Anna Nagar Chennai 600 040.
The workshop will start by 10 a.m and will go on till 3 p.m with a 40 minute lunch break in between.
Fees for the workshop:
The fee is 1500 rupees per person.
Lunch will be provided at the workshop venue.
About the instructor:
The workshop will be conducted by Ms. Amrutha Ravichandran, an Alumni of Symbiosis institute of media and communication (SIMC), Pune. Having worked in both Mumbai and Tamil industry, she can give a broad perspective about the Indian film industry. Having worked in Star Vijay, Little red car films etc. she can give an overview of the film, advertisement and television industry.
