Workshop begins: 5th November, 2011.

For the screening process for the workshop:
Write three to four paragraphs (400-500 words) of a story with one of the following as your opening sentence

1. The house dwarfed everything in the street.
2. This wasn't where he wanted to be.
3. Everyone in the office turned and stared.
4. I suppose every boy wants to help his country in some way or another.
5. The call had come an hour ago, when they were eating.
6. I steal.
7. A woman I don't know is boiling tea in my kitchen.

Also add in a 250 word personal profile to allow Madhavi to know you well.

Please submit your entries before October 25th, 2011
