More about Sahaja Yoga:
Founded by Dr. Nirmala Srivastava revered as Shri Mataji, Sahaja Yoga is a unique meditation technique based on an experience called Self Realization (Kundalini awakening) that can occur within each human being.
We have a primordial energy called Kundalini and seven chakras (energy centers) within us. These seven chakras are responsible for our physical, emotional and mental well-being. The Kundalini awakening through Self-realization nourishes and revitalizes the chakras which leads to a person feeling relaxed, calm, and joyous. This calmer state of mind is called ‘thoughtless awareness’.
The swaras and ragas in the music resonate with the vibrations of these energy centres and have the capability to energize these centres to retain their natural balanced state. With the objective of experiencing the combination of meditation and music on our subtle system, SahajaYoga Telengana committee is celebrating Festival of Inner Peace (FOIP) through different concerts.
