In the month long celebration of fashion, Visualite International has also scheduled an exciting fashion photography workshop wherein budding fashion photographers and other photography enthusiasts are given the opportunity to work with top Models and a hotshot photographer from the Fashion Industry. While, there may be plenty of spaces for students to learn fashion photography, this is one of the few spaces that gives you the opportunity to have a real time commercial shoot experience. While most photographers have a theoretical idea of how a shoot goes on, when practically faced with one, they get stumped. Here, with our practical session, not only are the students guided by an experienced photographer as to how to go about the shoot and work with a model but, there are also makeup artist, hair dresser, art director and costume designer with whom the students can collaborate for the shoot.
What to expect from the workshop?
- Making mood boards and planning a shoot.
- Making a budget and staying within the budget
- Understanding the human body – postures and expressions
- Exploring the different types of fashion photography.
- Understanding the roles of a costume designer, makeup artist, hair stylist and art director at a fashion shoot
- Shooting for editorial purposes
- Usage of props
- Approaching clients- agency and freelance.
Eligibility criteria:
Students who wish to attend this course need to know the basics of photography. Otherwise, there are no other restrictions based on age or educational qualification.
For those who wish to learn the basics of photography, Visualite International offers a Basic photography course for a short term. This course can be attended by anyone who is passionate about photography and wishes to learn the fundamentals of photography.
Equipments:
All the equipments required for the shoot will be provided by us including a studio space for indoor shoot.
