Experience the Neelakurinji - Kotagiri

 Highlights:

Camping in the middle of a Tea estate. 

Hike through the tea gardens to find the beautiful Catherine waterfalls, make sure not to miss the waterfall massage and bath. 

Sit back, relax and sing a few songs and enjoy a campfire. 

Hike to slip rock viewpoint 


ITINERARY

DAY-0

9:30 pm - Start at Bengaluru. 




DAY-1

# 08:00 - Check in & allocating tents.
# 09:00 - Freshen up, breakfast and time to enjoy some local Nilgiri tea. 
#10:00 - trek down to the slip rock to Kalaar viewpoint & ridge walk to the pond chilling the feet(4 km from campsite)
#11:30 - trek to Catherine waterfalls to enjoy the waterfall bath(6 km)
#13:30 - reach the waterfalls & packed food provided(hot box/lunch box mandatory to be bought by the participants) 
#15:00 - cave hike & herd of bison sighting 
#18:30 - back to base & Nilgiri tea with snacks provided 
#19:00 - enjoying the camp-fire 
# 20:30 - Dinner (veg and non-veg)
# 22:00 - knocked off in the alpine tents 


Day - 2 
# 9:00 - breakfast
# 12:00 - Buy some local goodies including yummy Ooty chocolates and Varkey (Ooty's special rusk), visit tea museum (optional) 

Spot wild animals while returning via Bandipur-Gudlur National Park. 

Note: transport will be Non AC tempo traveler or Minibus based on the number of people-push back 2+2, food will be local style.
