But the road to success is not so easy ... "How do we keep the grip on the organization?"


The simulation follows a solid instructional design approach to achieve results. There is a planning phase (what is the plan), and execution phase (building and deploying), followed by a reflection phase (what happened). During the reflection phase reference is made to Project management principles and theory, and these are connected to real life situations of the organization the participants are working for.


Framing the Future is a business simulation for the 'clients' of Enterprise Architecture (the business, the project organization) and architects.

About Our Facilitators  

  1. Maarten Versteegh: Maarten is a Co-Founder and Master Trainer at Simagine. He grew up in a small village in the Centre of Holland. He attended the University of Leiden where he studied History. For many years he worked in local government rising through the various management positions where he eventually became a self employed interim manager. In 1994, he teamed up with his business partners Erik Stroek and Herman van der Bij to start Simagine  He turned out to be a natural simulation facilitator. Keen on having his participants learn about things like communicating, working together and ensuring they have fun! Maarten has run hundreds of Simagine Simulations all over the world. And, over the years he has trained many, many others to be SImulation facilitators.
  2. Akhil Chathurvedi: Akhil brings 19 years of IT Industry in IT strategy consulting, Complex architecture development and delivery and Technology Incubation and Center of Excellence (COE). He has worked globally across various industries.  He facilitates mentors and consults in the area of Enterprise architecture, Emerging IT technologies, Solution architecture and building business acumen.  He is ICF certified Leadership / Executive Coach, working with Executives, Entrepreneurs and others. Akhil was in consulting and Leadership roles with Cognizant, Accenture and Reliance managing large team of business analysts, architects and Consultants:
