6 years ago, the Organisers started with small-scale stargazing events in their backyard which proved to be immensely successful. The journey they have been through has shown us the loopholes existing in our country about the popularity of astronomical and space sciences.
This event marks the introduction of Digital Astronomy popularization in India.
Through this event, the Organisers try to solve basic questions such as:
1. Can astronomy be pursued regardless of my age?
2. The absence of astronomical equipment is stopping me from learning. What are the opportunities for me in this scenario?
3. Astronomy was just limited to my academic requirements back in school. Does this mean my long lost dream of satisfying my curiosity buds is finished?
From collaborating with the Department of Science and Technology, GoI 2 years back, the organizers are now being nurtured by the IIM-B and IIM-N for our further efforts.
It's a landmark event for them, for they are in a transition phase which we are excited to reveal. More so, SHK Trsu are happy to begin the era of Digital Astronomy in India encouraging the large audience of astronomy lovers.
The event is open to all and absolutely free of cost and we hope to have all the amazing amateur astro lovers to come join us for this memorable evening.
