Centre for Science Development and Media Studies (CSDMS) and Elets Technomedia Private Limited presents with pride eWorld Forum 2011, a global Information and Communication Technology (ICT) for development platform. The conference aims to explore the diverse opportunities of integrating ICT in different spheres of life. Since India is becoming a hub of ICT innovations, the forum will look into the issues like what can India learn from others and in turn what India can share with others in terms of ICT in governance and health.
The eWorld Forum 2011 will be convened in India at The Ashok, New Delhi on 1-3 August 2011. It will be a two day international conference and exhibition followed by awards to facilitate multi-stakeholder partnerships and networking among the governments, industry, academia and civil society organisations of different countries including the host country- India. The intensive two days will be packed with workshops, exhibitions by stakeholders from the ICT industry and thematic sessions centered on the following tracks –eGov and eHealth.
As a global forum, eWorld will witness the participation of more than 100 top-level stakeholders from ministries, government agencies, bilateral and multilateral agencies, non-government organisations, the global ICT industry, and civil society from across the world. eWorld Forum 2011 is born out of the success of past eINDIA and eASIA events, foremost ICT events in the Asian continent.
