AZeotropy is the annual Chemical Engineering symposium of IIT Bombay. We are a non-profit organization aiming to bridge the gap between the industries and academia so that the students get an idea of the application of the Chemical Engineering concepts in the practical arena of Chemical EngineeringAZeotropy has grown over the years to become India’s largest chemical engineering symposium with yearly participation of over 11,000+ students from 300+ engineering colleges all over India.
We bring to you an exciting chance to learn DWSIM, an open-source CAPE-OPEN compliant chemical process simulator which will help you to simulate steady and dynamic chemical processes using various thermodynamic models and unit operations. This workshop on DWSIM will be conducted in collaboration with FOSSEE. FOSSEE (Free/Libre and Open Source Software for Education) project promotes the use of FLOSS tools in academia and research. The FOSSEE project is part of the National Mission on Education through Information and Communication Technology (ICT), Ministry of Education (MoE), Government of India.
Who can attend ?
Undergraduates and Post-graduates from chemical, mechanical and metallurgy departments can attend this workshop.
