About The Event

 

Overview: Dudhsagar falls (literally sea of milk) is a four-tiered waterfall located on the mandovi river in the border of the indian state of goa and karnataka. Dudhsagar falls is amongst india's tallest waterfalls with a height of 310 m (1017 feet) and an average width of 30 metres (100 feet). The falls is located in the bhagwan mahaveer sanctuary and mollem national park among the western ghats.


**trekking will be only on mud roads & forest.
Trek distance: 22kms level of trek: moderate
** as we take forest permission and proceed up in mahaveer santuary, with given life jackets provided at kulem and proceed up further. If unable to trek bike / jeep can be accessed depending on availability 

Itinerary:
day 0: overnight journey to base camp in the village.
Day 1: start trek 9 am, after breakfast carried by a packed lunch and back to base within 6 pm, have dinner followed by bonfire and retire to sleep. 
Day 2: start early 8 am after breakfast, head to dandeli, rafting or water activities & back to bangalore by 4am with loads of memories.

Accommodation: (collem village rooms only with basic amenities)

Things to carry: raincoat/poncho, id proof, shoes, torch, personal medications, extra pair of clothes, toiletries, energy bars/snacks, id proof.

Cost includes: accommodation, transportation, jeep charges, 2breakfast, 1 lunch, 1 dinner (veg/non), bonfire (if weather permits), forest dept. Permission charges, coordinator charges, 1st aid, guide, lifejacket charges
cost excludes: lunch/dinner during travel, dandeli activities/rafting or any personal expenses.

6.15 pm kempegowda(majestic) metro station
6.30 pm navrang junction
6.45 pm yeshwantpur metro station

note:
** no camping allowed near waterfalls

** no walking on rail tracks
** cost remains same for both indians & foreigners.
** please not that no hot water facilities.
** drop locations will be same.
