Terms & Conditions

Rules and Regulations 

1. There is no separate category for boys and girls as it is a mixed event.
2. Participation Fee to participate in the competition is Rs.180/- per entry.
3. Registered participants have to send the video of cube solving for given scrambling Algorithm on 19^th December 2020.
4. Participants will be shortlisted based on the best cube solving timing.
5. For shortlisted participants final round will be conducted via zoom for a LIVE MATCH.
6. In the final round only one chance will be given to every participant.
7. If there is any network issue judges will decide whether another chance will be given.
8. The final winner list will be announced based on the best timing from each category.
9. In Final round the time will be taken by three time keepers and average of the same will be considered the final time.
10. Judges decision will be final.
11. Under-6 category is eligible to participate in 2 x 2 cube only.
12. Remaining age group are eligible to participate in 3 x 3 Cube category.
13. A participant can participate in Two different category as per the following norms:
14. One candidate can participate in maximum 2 categories.
15. Participant of lower category can participate in the next higher age category only. (e.g. Under-6 can participate in Under-10 also but can’t participate in Under-12 or 14 or 18)
16. Participants have to participate in their age category to participate in the higher age category (e.g. Under-6 can participate in Under-10 category also but only when he is participating in Under-6 category.)
17. Guidelines for Age category ( It is a mixed event ).
    • Born on or after 03/12/2014 will be under 6
    • Born on or after 03/12/2010 will be under 10
    • Born on or after 03/12/2006 will be under 14
    • Born on or after 03/12/2002 will be under 18
18. A participant of higher age category can’t participate in lower age category.
19. To participate in two categories Participants have to register in the both the events separately.
20. Participants are requested to keep the Reference no./ Transection Id after paying the entry fees on MERA EVENT.
21. Last Date Of Registration: - 18.12.2020 By 6:00pm
22. Zoom ID for the online match will be sent by E-mail and WhatsApp.
23. For Finals, participants should have system with web cam, mic. and speakers with stable internet connection (Please avoid use of mobile data).
24. TNCA ID is compulsory to fill registration form.
25. TNCA ID can be generated FREE on http://www.tamilnaducubeassociation.org/player-register

*On 19.12.2020 scrambling algorithm will be announced at 9:00 a.m on the Tamilnadu Cube Association’s website. Participants have to upload the video of solving the cube by using given scrambling algorithm before 6:00 p.m. same day (19:12:2020) on the LINK https://tx.gl/r/2yr4y (The Link will be active on 19-12-2020 from 9 AM)

(In the video Participant should mention his/her Name and Age category and at the time of solving the cube, the participant should be visible in the video while solving the cube)

First Three potion winners of each category will be awarded Merit E-Certificates and exciting prizes and others will be awarded participation E- Certificate.
