The DevOps Foundatiom Certification (DoFD) course is a two-day, entry-level course taught by Registered Education Provider of DevOps Institute.
The DevOps Foundation course provides a baseline understanding of key DevOps terminology to ensure everyone is talking the same language and highlights the benefits of DevOps to support organizational success
Attendees are required to pass a closed book, Supervised brief 60-question exam, post the training and need to score 65% marks to get certified
In this course, we cover the following topics:
DevOps objectives and vocabulary
Benefits to the business and IT
Principles and practices including Continuous Integration, Continuous Delivery, testing, security and the Three Ways
DevOps relationship to Agile, Lean and ITSM
Improved workflows, communication and feedback loops
Automation practices including deployment pipelines and DevOps toolchains
Scaling DevOps for the enterprise
Critical success factors and key performance indicators
Naturally, the content of the training is also ‘Agile’. Based on your learning wishes and goals, a Training Backlog is created for all participants. During the training we will determine whether the learning wishes have been sufficiently treated. During the training there is enough space to deal with your practical challenges. So interaction is central!
