Deccan Naadkhulla 600
This route was used for the very first 600 km BRM in India. This will be the 8th edtion of the Deccan Naadkhulla 600 km BRM. This route was first recced by Divya, Trilok Khairnar and Deepti Nayar way back in the summer of 2010!
Since then this route has been run each ACP year, making this one in Sept 2017 the 8th one on the same route.
The first 600 to be conducted in India was on this route which has remained unchanged for the most part.
The route leads out from Pune on NH4 till past Kolhapur (240 km), to turn back toward Pune. A night halt before Satara at Hotel Raj Lodging, Satara (@380 km) is provided.
Continuing to Pune, the control point is back at CCD Chandni Chowk. The route now becomes familiar ground for Pune cyclists as it goes to Lonavla and returns, a stretch of road that is used frequently for training and give riders a psychological advantage for the last 100 kms!
