DANDELI WILDLIFE TOUR

Overview:

Dandeli Wildlife is located in the Uttar Kannada district in the State of Karnataka, 125 km from Panjim (Goa) Dandeli abounds in a richness of flora and fauna. Its richness and diversity offer ample opportunities to nature lovers to enjoy the captivating landscape. The sanctuary is generally undulating with steep slopes with picturesque deep river valleys and rich hilly forest terrain.  The forest in Dandeli is typical moist deciduous and semi evergreen types.

Itinerary:

Day 1 – Departure from Pune

Evening departure for Alnavar junction

Day 2 – Arrive at Alnavar

Arrival and Transfer by car to Bison River Resort Dandeli (35 km approx 1 hour). Check in. Lunch, Afternoon Coracle Ride on the River Kali, Evening tea/coffee with cookies, Wildlife film followed by Dinner

Day 3 – Wildlife safaris in Dandeli Sanctuary

Early morning wakeup call with Tea / Coffee Depart for a Safari into Dandeli Wildlife Sanctuary. Breakfast will be served after the safari. Lunch Evening Birdwatching along the periphery of the Resort, Evening Tea/coffee, Wildlife movie, Dinner

Day 4 – Wildlife safari and river rafting

Early morning wakeup call with Tea / Coffee Depart for an exciting White water rafting run on the magnificent River Kali. Lunch . Afternoon Visit to Kavala Caves for Sightseeing, Evening Tea / Coffee, Barbecue Dinner along with Bonfire.

Day 5 – Departure to Alnavar junction

Wakeup call with tea/coffee, Breakfast. Departure for Alnavar.

Day 6 – Arrive in Pune

Arrive in Pune with awesome wild memories.

Charges Include

• Pune to Pune escorted trip.
• 3AC Rail fare for Pune – Alnavar – Pune train travel.
• Accommodation at a resort in Dandeli on quadruple sharing basis (AC rooms).
• Food charges for the entire duration of camp (including Train Journey).
• Alnavar – Dandeli – Alnavar travel by AC vehicles.
• Charges for 2 jeep safaris in the Reserve.
• Entry fees and Guide Charges in the Tiger Reserve.
• Travel Insurance for every participant.
• Government Service Tax and Swachh Bharat Cess

Charges Exclude

• Mineral water bottle / cold drinks during the journey or at the campsite.
• Personal expenditure of any kind (Porter age, Telephone, Laundry, room service etc.).
• Medical Expenses if any.
• Any other charges not mentioned in “Charges Include”.
• Expenses that are incurred due to reasons beyond the control of the organizers.
