 Cyber resilience refers to an entity's ability to continuously deliver the intended outcome despite adverse cyber events. Cyber resilience is an evolving perspective that is rapidly gaining recognition. The concept essentially brings the areas of information security, business continuity and resilience together.

 Entities with potential need of cyber resilience abilities include, but is not limited to; IT systems, critical infrastructure, business processes, organizations, societies and nation-states. Adverse cyber events are those that negatively impact the availability, integrity or confidentiality of networked IT systems and associated information and services.

The objective of cyber resilience workshop is to focus on understanding the application / IT infrastructure architecture, security requirements, controls implementation, monitoring and auditing.

About Speakers 

Ganesan Ramani                                           

Ganesan Ramani (Ganesh) is an Assistant Vice President - Risk Management, Technololgy compliance & BCM with DBS Asia Hub 2 Private Limited(DBS Bank,Singapore). He comes with more than 13 years of experience in Information Security consulting/auditing, Technology Governance & Digital Forensics.

 Ganesh has rich experience in Banking & Telecom industries and have worked with top banks and telecom companies in US,UK & APAC regions. He specializes in reviewing IT security architectures, managing incident responses, implementing security & forensics controls.

 He is a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Information Security Manager(CISM), ISO27001:2013 LA, ITIL and Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) certifications.

 Ganesh had worked with Standard Chartered Bank, IBM Global Business Services, Wipro Technologies & CSS Corporation in his professional career in various capacities of security consulting. He has done his Bachelor of Computer Science & Engineering from Anna University, Chennai & Post Graduate Diploma in Cyber laws from Nalsar University of Law, Hyderabad.

 He is also currently serving as Research Director of ISACA Hyderabad Chapter and member of ISC2, BCI & DSCI Chapters.

Jaiprakash Singh                                   

Jaiprakash Singh is leader for BCM & IT Continuity at DXC Technology, India. He comes with more than 13 years of experience with specialized focus in BCM, IT Service Continuity, Organizational Resilience and crisis management.

Jaiprakash has rich experience in Banking, Insurance & IT industries. During his tenure at DXC Technology, He led large data center recovery projects for clients like Bombardier Transportation (USA & Canada), Zurich Insurance Group (Globally), Manulife Insurance (Hong Kong and Japan) & Amlak Finance (Middle East). He implemented BCM and ITSCM across various regions as part of his consulting career.

He has a master’s in business administration (MBA) and master’s in IT (M.Sc. IT). He is Certified Business Continuity Professional (CBCP), Project Management Professional (PMP) and trained in ISO22301 as lead auditor.

 He is currently serving as Member of BCI India Think Tank, a prestigious group of 19 professionals across India focused on thought leadership and premium research. Additionally, He is the treasurer and forum development lead of BCI Hyderabad Forum.
