About your Instructor: Madhur Kathuria
Madhur’s love affair with Agile philosophy started in 2004, when he began working on an Agile approach to requirements management in his first job. This also allowed him to work in close company with Ivar Jacobson, the guru of Rational Unified Process (RUP). After that he played multiple roles across various organizations, including that of a developer, business analyst, test engineer and test manager, ScrumMaster, process and CMMI consultant, and Agile trainer and coach. He has also led Agile coach teams for various customer and employer teams.
As part of his coaching assignments, Madhur has been part of close to 100+ Agile transformations (with organizational sizes ranging from 100 to 15,000).
He became India’s first Certified Scrum Coach in 2011. Since becoming a CST in 2014, he has helped train and nurture more than 9000 CSM and CSPOs.
He is also the author of the AgileFEED Educational Framework, Battlefield Agility Framework and VDBM change management concept.
Madhur established and chairs the India Scrum Enthusiasts Community (ISEC), a nonprofit body of 25,000-plus Scrum practitioners and Agile believers. ISEC regularly organizes conferences, meet-ups, and knowledge sessions; some of its past events include Regional Scrum Gatherings in India in 2013, 2014, and 2015, and Agile Tour events.
