A multi-art, living, breathing performance and installation experience.
Inspired from a photograph of a chair/s installation and a conversation about the act of 'being seated' in order to watch a LIVE show, the idea for a devised installation based performance titled "Comfort Zone" was born. Through the piece, the performance artist Archana Kumar hopes to blur the line which defines "the Performer" and the "Viewer/Audience".
Live video art, Live Music and Physical movement-theater come together to develop and create this unique performative experience- You become the performer. Because you will be allowed to fully and honestly experience the present, the now.
The evening will commence with Bodywork, an inter-disciplinary installation work, led by Nakula Somana, wherein we wish to examine several processes of bodies in the spaces that lead up to the main auditorium in Shoonya (starting from the staircase, foyer, cafe and the mezzanine floor).
