Screening of the film 'C'era Una Volta Il West (Once upon a time in the west)'.
The epic story of a mysterious stranger with a harmonica who joins forces with a notorious desperado to protect a beautiful widow from a ruthless assassin; the young woman, Mrs. McBain, who moves from New Orleans to frontier Utah, on the very edge of the American West, arrives there only to discover her new husband and family slaughtered, but by whom? The film, with music by Ennio Morricone, is now generally acknowledged as a masterpiece and one of the greatest films ever made. In 2009, it was named to the United States's National Film Registry by the Library of Congress for being “culturally, historically and aesthetically” significant and will be preserved indefinitely.
