About The Event


Are you bored of mundanity of life? Do studies (or work) seem like a burden? Then, you must embrace creativity more than anyone else. Creativity is fun alright, but it also keeps your energies high and makes your work interesting. If you have lost your creative juice or feel it’s not enough as it is, attend our session to rediscover yourself. Harsh Agarwal, Nethra A and RJ Saavi will discuss the following topics, along with their stories and experiences, and how they are encashing their creativity:

About the panellists:

Harsh Agarwal

An artist by soul, engineer by education and entrepreneur by profession, Harsh Agarwal entered the publishing industry at the early age of 19. Till now, he has played diverse roles and has worked as an author, editor, agent, freelancer, book reviewer and mentor as well. He recently started delivering creative writing workshops in various cities which were equally loved by aspiring authors.

His last book ‘An excursion of insight’ from Lifi Publications was loved by both critiques and readers. His next book ‘Nazaqat’ will be releasing in December with Half Baked Beans.

Harsh aims to help young and aspiring authors and do a number of projects with them to motivate and inspire them. The recent ones include ‘Love and Lokpal’ and ‘Time’s Lost Atlas’ where he helped numerous young writers and guided them to complete the book.

Harsh also runs the organization named - The Asylum, which aims to promote creative writing and aspiring authors.

Also, he is a final year student of Mechanical Engineering at NIT Silchar, Assam. 

Nethra A

Based in Bangalore, Nethra is a post-graduate in Business Administration and is a graduate in Computer Science & Engineering. She is a voracious reader and a fiction writer, who puts quality writing over everything else. Her interest in good stories and writing made her start Fablery Publications, which started as a writing activity in association with another publication and now is venturing into publishing graphic novels and novellas. Her debut novel “My Ramyeon Girl” will be out in the market in the near future. 


A proud native of Kota, Rajasthan - Saavi is a Radio Jockey who blends her listeners’ thoughts and Kota’s identity to a proud moment each morning. In radio since 2008, she is the local flavor of the education city. “Aap bolte raho… aapke bolne se Kota bahut aage jaayega” says a listener describing her. In April 2011, she completed 1000 episodes without any leave on air in Kota - an achievement that is rare.

Aseem Ahmed Abbasee

Aseem Ahmed Abbasee is a lyricist, Poet, Creative Writer and Hindi Editor at Poets Corner Group. He was born in a middle class Muslim family to Mr. Akeel Ahmed Abbasee & Mrs. Abeda Begum, and his birth name is Aseem Akeel Ahmed Jameel Ahmed Abbasee.

Abbasee worked for FM RADIO PINK CITY (as a guest artist) and later joined 95 FM TADKA as a copy writer. He also held position of national creative writer at 94.3 FM Jiyo Dil Se. He is best known for lyrics of "Emptiness" which saw over 3 Million hits and downloads. He also penned down the lyrics for the Bollywood movies Table No. 21, Bittoo Boss, Punjabi movieTour Mitran di & Rajasthani films. He also contributed for channel V serials Hum se hai life, Love kiya to darna kya, DD national's short films, travelogue series & worked as a screenplay writer for DD Urdu serials. He has written and performed some of the most popular comic segments for the radio industry. His radio segment "Irfan CD Center" was broadcast in two countries (India & Pakistan) simultaneously.
