The common man is not common’ to Kandukuri Ramesh babu (47) and so he truly and deeply believed in highlighting the common man as a special person and an indispensable part of the society.
A journalist and writer and photographer, Ramesh babu strives hard to bring forth the idea of that a common man’s contribution to the society is immensely commendable though it might have gone unnoticed, a lot of times.
He captured the lives of ordinary men and women in series of articles in vernacular dailies and featured programs in television channels. Wrote 13 books on unsung heroes besides exhibiting 11 solo photography shows. His tenth show titled ‘Celebrating the ordinary’ held in Jehangir art gallery in Mumbai got good applause.
In 2016, Ramesh Babu founded an exclusive photography gallery named Samanyashastram in Manikonda of Hyderabad. Here he exhibits his works time to time in life size and celebrates the life or ordinary. Since the inception of the newspaper, Namasthe Telangana news daily, Kandukuri Ramesh Babu edited Sunday magazine up to 2016 and then worked as special correspondent for a year. Now he is working as freelancer for BBC Telugu from Hyderabad and pursuing photography with much more dedication.
