Our Mission:
India’s book scene has been tremendously lagging in every conceivable way. The stories, fables, and lessons on paper are being lost to an age full of distractive content. Our mission is to rekindle that love again. We have the vision to make a community that supports readers on their journey of self-discovery and one that helps them gain enough confidence to explore new authors and genres. This is a platform by book lovers- for book lovers.
What happens in the event?
Bookom Event has the following sessions:
Session 1: Introduction/Ice-Breaking
You introduce yourself and you get to know who everyone else is. Then we kickstart with a fun engaging activity.
Session 2: Book Reading
Read a passage from the book you are reading currently or the one you like the most and share your perspective about it.
Session 3: General Discussion
A discussion about everything related to books. Why you love them, your favourite ones, the authors you follow, where you buy them, etc.
Session 4: Book Exchange/Networking
A free-flowing round of networking and conversations. Perhaps you will find a great book to exchange with.
