Bhorgiri to Bhimashankar hike route is through dense jungle and provides many opportunities for nature lovers and particularly shutterbugs. One can also have the chance of beholding the state animal of Maharashtra, the Giant Squirrel, also known as “Shekru.” With the onset of monsoon, Bhorgiri to Bhimashankar trek is the perfect trek for anyone. It’s a plain Jungle walk of around 3 Hours which ends at Bhimashankar. One has to pass the Streams & waterfall to reach the Bhimashankar Temple
