Beat Route
It is an acoustic music event coinciding with the Geminid meteor shower. It will be hosted in Kanakapura in a 15-acre plot, conceptualized to provide a platform for musicians and folk artists to promote their talent. With live music, good food, drinks, and camping, our aim is to create awareness and harmonize natural night sky events with entertainment. This year's lineup features Mad Orange Fireworks, Lazie J, 12th Bar and Wild things among many others.
Geminid Meteor Showers
The last two year’s edition was set in the backdrop of the Geminid Meteor Showers. These are considered to be one of the best meteor showers and peaks that occur on December 13th at midnight every year. Unlike most meteor showers which originate from comets, the Geminid's originate from an asteroid: Asteroid 3200 Phaethon. Observed first in 1862, they are bright, fast and yellow-colored and are known for their fireball meteors. During its peak, 120 Geminid meteors can be seen per hour.
Editions 2014 - 15
The last two editions of the event was held on the banks of river Kaveri at Srirangapatna. Musicians, singers and bands like Steve and Gopi, The Chronic Blues Circus, Peepal Tree, Polly Wants a Cracker, Azuric, Asleep in a Rifle, High on Chai, Sid and the Difference, Anup, Vibrants, Obscuro, Imagine Reality, Maztrz, The High Concept and The Inner Monkey performed on our stages.
