Artists :
1. Shri Bhaskar Das -
Bhaskar is one of the finest flautists of the young generation of musicians in India today and has been highly praised by the audience and media in India and abroad. Bhaskar’s initial training was with his father Pt. Gopal Das with whom he still continues learning the intricacies of the Bamboo flute and north Indian classical music. He has won many national competitions such as Sangeet Natak Academy, Sangeet Samiti etc. He is also the recipient of National Scholarship by the Government of India.
Bhaskar’s specialty is his tonal quality and sensitive approach towards the music even while showing his virtuosity on the instrument. At a very early age Bhaskar started performing on stage and soon became a popular name at the concert scenes and festivals and has been regularly performing around Europe as a solo artistand as part of world music.
At present he is honing his skills under the guidance of Pt. Anupam Rai and Pt. Udai Mazumdar.
2. Shri Satyendra Singh Solanki -
Satyendra Singh Solanki was well-groomed in a musically inclined environment. His father Shri Ajay Singh Solanki is very good tabla artist. A Young rising star of Santoor Satyendra Singh Solanki was blessed to receive training from Pt. Omprakash Chourasiya. He is also taking comprehensive training in the intricacies of dhrupad style by Padmshri Pt. Umakant Gundecha & Pt. Ramakant Gundecha. He has received Awards and Blessing from great Musicians and gurujans. He graduated in Electronics and Communication Engineering. He has also won many competitions, state and National level. His programs are frequently broadcast from All India Radio and Doordarshan. He has performed in many prestigious music festival in National and International Level. Satyendra Singh Solanki is a “A” grade Artistfrom All India Radio & Doordarshan.
3. Shri Amit Choubey -
Amidst the new generation of Tabla players on the music scene today, Amit Choubey is a name apart. Groomed from the tender age of seven under the able guidance of Tabla Maestro Pt. Karodilal Bhatt in his home town Jabalpur M.P., he is at present taking advanced Tabla Training from Ustad Allarakha Music Institute under the World renowned Tabla Maestro Padma Bhushan Ustad Zakir Hussain and Pt. Yogesh Samsi ji at Mumbai. Amit brings to music a mind alive to the movement and nuances of rhythm along with a superior tonal quality that has been cultivated through persistent practice and dedication. An astute tableplayer who combines the sheer rigour of tradition along with innovative modern percussion techniques in his playing, Amit Choubey is a name to reckon with . He has been Awarded Gold Medal in M. A. in Tabla from Indira Kala Sangeet Vishwavidyalay Khairagad-Chhattisgarh India, in year 2011.
Apart from being anaccomplished tabla soloist, Amit is also a versatile accompaniment artiste. He has performed extensively in India and abroad for music concerts & music festivals.
4. Shri Guru Raghavendran -
Guru Raghavenran is a highly proficient mridangam player. Son of a Harikatha exponent, Guru has done is his M.A. in Rhythmology & is pursuing his Ph.D. His Initial Mridhangam lessons were learnt from his grandfather Late Palayamkottai S. VenkataramanaRao ,who was an eminent Harikatha Exponent & Mridhangam Vidwan. Further lessons were under (late) Kalaimamani Thinniyam Y. Krishnan, Retired Staff Artiste, AIR, Pondicherry. Guru is an “A” Grade Artiste (AIR, Chennai) and has received many accolades nationally and internationally. He has also accompanied eminent artists and has performed in many concerts in India and abroad and has played for Raj TV’s Carnatic Music Reality Show Tanishq Swarna Sangeetham for all the three Seasons so far.
