ASSOCHAM - National Conference on Service Tax (Present law & proposed changes) !
Service tax law and procedures have been undergoing significant changes during last few years. Several major changes are expected in the coming year to increase its coverage, administration and aligning with proposed GST regime. These may include taxation of all service except those in ‘Negative List’, TDS from payment for services etc. These changes will have far impact on many sectors. Moreover, there are quite a few unresolved issues arose from tax amendments made in last Budget which include point of taxation rules and changes in CENVAT Rules.
