About Great AppSec Hackathon

The Great AppSec Hackathon is a nationwide competition, under Cybersecurity Centre of Excellence(CCoE) App Security Champion virtual programme, to provide college students and professionals with a platform to solve some of the critical challenges in the field of Application Security. This will enable them to expand their problem-solving and innovative-thinking capabilities in the Cyber security space.

Broad Objectives of the Hackathon:

• Capability building and Skill building among students in application security. 
• Provide hands-on experience for students to hone their skills.
• Create awareness on threats and vulnerabilities related to application security.

Dates of the Hackathon: 

ROUND 1
Assessment Test (MCQ)
9th & 10th August, 2024

ROUND 2
Capture the Flag Challenge (24-Hour Challenge)
17th & 18th August, 2024

 Who Can Participate?

Note: The processing of the certification is an automated process. In order to be eligible for certification, students are required to use their official credentials (for example, your first name, surname and email) and use these consistently.

Registration Fee:
A nominal registration fee will be charged of ₹199+ 18% GST.

Please note that by registering for the Great AppSec Hackathon 2024, you acknowledge and consent to share your data with both the Cybersecurity Centre of Excellence, and partners integral to the facilitation of the Great AppSec Hackathon. The data you provide will be stored and used exclusively for the purposes of organising and facilitating the Great AppSec Hackathon 2024. All data collected will be handled in accordance with applicable data protection laws and regulations.
