11:30 PM - Meeting at Panvel station

Day 2( 16^th July, Sunday )

12:15 AM - Leave from Panvel by private vehicle

04:30 AM - Reach base village and take a short Nap.

06:15 AM - Wake up call and freshen up.

06:30 AM - Breakfast @ base village

07:00 AM - Start the trail through beautiful water streams

11:00 AM- Visit waterfalls

12:30 PM - Lunch break

04:30 PM - Reach Bhira dam & have tea.

05:30 PM- Leave for Pune and Mumbai

Description:

Andharban is a complete descend trek, where you are already on height and you will descend till end. The name itself describes as a dark dense forest.  It is a very significant historical route as it is believed that this was the trade route which connects Konkan villages with Western Ghats (Tamhini range). This trek is best experienced in monsoons because you will walk through mysterious forest of Andharban, waterfalls and water-crossings. You will be witnessing several shades of green nature!!!

We will also be witnessing evergreen forest which covers you with shade in first half of the trek (6-8 kms).The trek further descends down in the Konkan region to reach Bhira (4 kms). This trek has a lot to offer as the views change very fast as you descend.
