The World Kidney Day Steering Committee has declared 2021 the year of “Living Well with Kidney Disease”. This has been done in order to both increase education and awareness about effective symptom management and patient empowerment, with the ultimate goal of encouraging life participation. Whilst effective measures to prevent kidney disease and its progression are important, patients with kidney disease – including those who depend on dialysis and transplantation – and their care-partners should also feel supported, especially during pandemics and other challenging periods, by the concerted efforts of kidney care communities.
AINU Kidney Run is being organized by Asian Institute of Nephrology & Urology to bring awareness in the society about the importance of taking preventive measures and about the effective strategies to identify and manage symptoms that cause suffering.

In consideration of my participation in the 5K Run Activity conducted by Asian Institute of Nephrology & Urology and being held on 14th March 2021 at Jalavihar, Necklace Road, Hyderabad.
I, the undersigned, do hereby acknowledge, covenant, and agree for myself, my family, heirs, and assigns as follows:
I am taking part in the said activity at my own risk and neither the organizers, sponsors or beneficiaries of the AINU Kidney Run shall in any way be liable or responsible for any personal injury, ill-health or death nor shall they be liable for any theft or damage to personal property arising in the course of or during the holding of the activity. And, in so far as permitted by law none of the organizers, the sponsors or any of their servants or agents shall in any way be responsible for any such injury or damage or any loss suffered, however caused, in connection with my participation in the Activity.
I understand that participation in the activity can cause Fatigue and Exhaustion can be uncomfortable or harmful or cause injury. I am fully aware of the inherent risks associated with participation in the Activity and to the maximum extent allowed by law, I Waive, Release, and Discharge the Asian Institute of Nephrology & Urology, its Organizers, Members & Associates from any negligence, claims, losses, or causes of action including, but not limited to death, personal injury or property damage arising out of my own voluntary participation in the above activity.
I understand and agree that the Organizers have simply facilitated the event for participants interested in the Activity and I am voluntarily participating and consented to my own risk and peril involved in this Activity.
I affirm that I am in good physical health and have read about the difficulty and I am confident of my ability to take part in the said activity. I have no significant injury, medical ailments or conditions that would counter-indicate any disability to take part in the activity.
I declare that I am fit to participate in the AINU Kidney Run event.
I hereby give permission for the Asian Institute of Nephrology & Urology and the Organizers of AINU Kidney Run to secure medical treatment for me in the event of an emergency. I authorize the physician or medical personnel or Certified First Aider present to provide treatment deemed necessary by them.
I understand that the first aid will be free of cost. But any further treatment-related expenses and its financial implications, if any, will be borne by me.
I am aware that this is time of the Covid -19 pandemic and will adhere to all the safety precautions with regard to same such as
A. Wearing of mask
B. Keep adequate physical distance from other participants
C. Frequently wash hands using sanitizers.
AINU Kidney Run reserves complete rights and authority to make changes in the venue, date of the race, race routes under urgent or immediate circumstances if necessary. I will be informed if there are any such changes made.
CANCELLATION POLICY: AINU Kidney Run reserves the right to cancel the event without any notice during unavoidable, uncontrollable, unpredicted situations, natural disasters, severe weather conditions which may cause loss and injury and social disturbances (Local Riots/ Bandhs). There shall be no refund or return policy under these circumstances.
I am fully aware and understand that all the SAG Points are well placed at the routes with enough supplements, refreshments, and AID.
I understand and agree that the decision of the organizers will be final and binding regarding route fixing, route changing, event timings, event dates, acceptance or rejection of registrations, and all other such matters as may be required for the successful conduct of the race.
I declare that all the information provided by me in the registration form for the AINU Kidney Run is correct and true and I have not provided any misleading information.
I declare that I am a major and above 18 years of age.
In case form is being filled up by anyone below 18years, it is understood that it is the parent or guardian who is registering on behalf of the minor child. In such a case the parent/guardian has to mention his/her name and accept the terms and indemnity provided.
