Merutikhan trek is known for it's mesmerizing landscape, gradient and tea estates.

Activities: Trekking, Rafting, Camping, Bonfire, Waterfalls & Story telling.
Trek Start & End Location: Mullodi & Merutikhan
Stay: Camping in a farm / Village home-stay. Basic rest room facility.

OUTLINE ITINERARY:
Day 0: * Departure from Bangalore at 21:00 (select your preferred
travelling mode)
Day 1: * Get fresh and have Breakfast and tea at home-stay.
* Start Baamikonda trek as early as possible, Reach peak
& have packed lunch. Spend some time and return back to
camp site facing the waterfalls. Spend time at waterfalls.
* Bonfire, BBQ, story-telling and dinner.
Day 2: * Get up at 5:30am, Get fresh, Have breakfast & check-out at
6:30am.
* Reach Merutikhan base & start hiking (Time oreinted Hike).
* Depart for white water rafting at 2:30pm from the base
* (If you opt to spend leisurely, you can spend time at
waterfalls and join another team which will head to rafting
location at 1:30pm )
* Participate in Class-3 White Water Rafting.
* Depart to Bengaluru and Reach by 1am
THINGS TO CARRY:
Trekking shoes
Backpack (40-60 litres), Water proof
Socks (2 pairs): One sports socks, A pair of woolen socks for the night if trek is in winter.
Salt/Snuff Powder to avoid leeches during rainy and post rainy season or Anti-leech socks.
Headlamp/Torch: Mandatory
Toiletries (Sunscreen, moisturizer, light towel, lip balm, toilet paper, toothbrush, toothpaste).
Two water bottles: 1 litre each.
Personal Medications if any
Plastic covers/Water proof covers to keep wet cloths separately and extra if backpack is not 100% water proof
COST INCLUDES:
1 night stay at Home Stay/Camping.
Spacious dome tents, sleeping bags.
2 Breakfast, 1 Lunch, 1 Dinner and plenty of snacks & refreshments.
Local trek guide, Rafting Instructor, Permissions and Entry fees.
Medical first aid support by AHA certified personnel.
