The group is proud to present the Adani Ahmedabad Marathon 2017, dedicated to the cause of supporting the Indian armed forces. A marathon is a symbol of sportsmanship, perseverance, dedication and mental strength. As India’s protectors, these are the very same characteristics and values that the brave soldiers of our nation live by. With the shared goal of goodwill and progress of the nation, the two are connected at a deep and intrinsic level. We live in a time where India is unbounded, the workforce tireless, the youth fearless and every citizen hopeful of a better future. As a conscious corporate citizen, The Adani Group is committed to fulfilling the role of community and nation building, and facilitate the dreams of its people. The marathon is designed to bring the people of Gujarat together in a show of strength, bonding and harmony. It aims to promote healthy and prosperous living, while paying tribute to our brave soldiers and their families. The charity run will channel the gratitude and goodwill that Gujarat feels towards the army into actionable steps and funds for the cause. The marathon will be run through the streets of Shantigram and engage the entire community to be a part of this historic milestone.

Q 2. Can I participate in multiple race categories?
Ans No. You can only participate in one race category.
Q 3. There was a problem during registration. I have been charged but I did not receive a confirmation. What should I do?

Q 7.Is there a minimum/maximum age for participants?
Ans Minimum age limit is 12 years for 5 Kms, 16 years for 10 Km and 18 years for 21 Km & 42kms

Ans We will have offline registration counter during the bib distribution event.
Q 9. Does the race have cut off times?
Ans The cut off time for the Full Marathon is 7 hours Half Marathon 4 hours

Ans Yes, all the finishers will get medals and e-certificate for the event.
• Age limit: Participants need to be at least 12 years old for the 5km run, 16 years old for the 10km run and 18 years old for the 21km (Half Marathon) & 42km (Marathon)
• Please choose the race category carefully, confirmed registrations are non-refundable, non-transferable and cannot be modified
• To participate in the Full Marathon, you must have participated in a distance running (42KM or 21KM) event which must have been conducted within the period of 18 months preceding race day of the Adani Ahmedabad Marathon 2017
• Timing/finishing certificates will be checked at the time of BIB Collection, upon failure to produce the same, their registration stands cancelled without any refund
• We will be sending regular updates to the mobile number you have provided in the registration form, this should be not treated as spam and you shall not take any action against our bulk sms service provider. Any notice sent to the email address registered with the organizer shall be deemed as received by the runner
• You are aware that running long distance run is an extreme sport and can be injurious to body and health
• You take full responsibility for participating in the Adani Ahmedabad Marathon and do not hold the organizing committee or any of its members or entities responsible for any injury or accident You shall consult your physician and undergo complete medical examination to assess your suitability to participate in the event
• You also assume all risk associated with participating in this event including, but not limited to, falls, contact with other participant, the effects of the weather, including high heat or humidity, traffic and other condition of the road, arson and terrorist threat and all other risks associated with a public event. You agree that the Adani Ahmedabad Marathon shall not be liable for any loss, damage, illness or injury that might occur as a result of your participation in the event
• You agree to abide by the instructions provided by the organizers from time to time in the best interest of your health and event safety
• You also agree to stop running if instructed by the Race director or the medical staff or by the aid station volunteers
• You confirm that your name and media recordings taken during your participation may be used to publicize the event
• You confirm that, in the event of adverse weather conditions, major incidents or threats on the day of the event, any of the force majeure of the restriction by authority, the organizers reserve the right to Stop/Cancel/Postpone the event. You understand that confirm registrations and merchandise orders are non-refundable, non-transferable and cannot be modified. The organizers reserve the right to reject any application without providing reasons. Any amount collected from rejected applications alone will be refunded in full (excluding bank charges wherever applicable)
• Runners are recommended to stay off the course beyond the cutoff time considering the safety and traffic regulations
• For any reason you cannot turn up on the race day, no refund of any form will be given • If this registration is being made on behalf of a minor, I confirm that I am the parent/guardian of the child and that he / she has my permission to take part in the event. I further concur that all the above rules shall apply to him/her as if he were a major
• Participants must personally appear for collecting the running bibs. Bibs can be distributed in-absentee with written consent of the registered runner
• The participant understands and agrees that he may be contacted by the sponsors and promoters of the event for marketing and promotion of offers and grand explicit permission to send him/her communication on his/her mobile number and email address provided in the registration form
• Internet handling fee per ticket may be levied. Please check your total amount before payment
• Tickets once booked cannot be exchanged or refunded
• We recommend that you arrive at least 20 minutes prior to the starting time
