A Train of Thought
“If you can do anything you want, then why do anything at all? Isn’t our sense of achievement directly dependent on what we have overcome?”
Sushmita is in India for 3 months in search of ideas for her book. It is the last 15 days here, and she has not experienced anything remotely book-worthy – until she takes the night train to Kanyakumari.
There, several strangers come together, and make up stories about each other to pass the time, and help Sushmita – but are they just stories, or is there more to the narrators than initially meets the eye?
This multi-layered, thought-provoking play weaves in multiple strands from the narrators, casting commentary on how we think and believe – what we love, how we live, and what drives us as human beings.
