A one of its kind, this camping experience is meant to be a reflective exercise for the kids with oodles of mud and puddles and cattle and games and art!
This farming based camp will provide an engaging environment where campers will deepen their connection to the soil, plants, and animals that are the sources of their food. All sessions integrate hands-on farm and food activities, outdoor exploration, farm-based arts & crafts, cattle rearing, irrigation, interaction with villagers, rain dance and so much more.
Camp Objectives: To understand life cycle, farm to table process, deeper understanding for animals/ cattle, gratitude towards nature and workers in this line of work
To muck in at the fields with the farmer
To feed and graze the cattle
To make and stuff the Scarecrow
To milk the Cows
To water the plants
To pluck the produce (if any)
To draw the water from the well
To make cow dung cake
To make 'CHULHA'.
DCC-Dynamic Challenge Course
To visit Village house And to experience life in the rural setup
Small group size enabling personal bonding and vigilance
Practice of Experiential Methodology, thus creating a SAFE Environment for the child to participate and express freely
NO COMPETITION throughout the camp, ensuring the kids feel welcome, and do not feel pressurized emotionally or socially
Kids are actively involved in the decision making and day planning during the camp stays, thus enabling the kids to take charge of their program, and helping them cope with the consequences of their choice
Completely fun and exploration based camps, whilst giving the kids enough time to bond with fellow participants and enjoy FREE PLAY!
Departure from Borivali at around 7 am by Private Bus for Wada. On the way pick up from Andheri, Kala Nagar, Amar Mahal (Chembur), Vashi and Panvel. Have Breakfast Enroute. Reach campsite at 11 am
-Ice Breaking Games
-Making Soil Chulha
-Visit Gaushala & Milk the Cow
-Trek to River Pinjal, followed by Rythemic Excercise to absorb the goodness of clean and green environment
-Farm activities with a visit to a Village. The activities will be Rice or Corn plantation, Vegetable farming, grazing the cattle, learn about drip irrigation, plucking the ripe farm products, visiting a farmer’s house, interacting with the villagers, helping them and coming back to the Camp in Bullock cart.
-Visit Gaushala, cleaning, feeding the cows, making cow dung cakes
-Making scare crow
-Cooking on CHULHA
-Campfire and Fun around campfire
- Morning Tea and Trek towards Gaushala (to milk the cow)
- Visiting farm, Placing & fixing Scare Crow
- Rain dance with music, Bath, Change, packing up
- To know the art and craft of that area with warli art & Basket weaving
- Bullock Cart ride
Depart from campsite at 5 pm. On the way drop at Panvel, Vashi, Amar Mahal (Chembur), Kala Nagar, Andheri & Borivali.
