About The Event

Yogasanas - Align with the Divine

The word asana literally means a posture. Out of the innumerable asanas a body can assume, 84 have been identified as Yogasanas, through which one can transform the body and mind into a possibility for ultimate well-being. Yogasanas are not exercises, but rather very subtle processes to manipulate one’s energy in a particular direction. Practicing Yogasanas helps you take charge of your life.

In an untrained state, the human body is a constant manifestation of various levels of compulsiveness. By consciously forming the body into a certain posture, one creates a conducive passage for energy flow that can elevate one’s consciousness. Yogasanas are a way of aligning the inner system and adjusting it to the celestial geometry, thereby becoming in sync with the existence and naturally achieving a chemistry of healthfulness, joyfulness, blissfulness, and above all, balance.

 

The practice of Yogasanas provides countless benefits including:

  • Relief of chronic health conditions
  • Evolution of body and mind towards a higher possibility
  • Stabilization of the body, mind, and energy system

Friday 29th July Evening: 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm

Saturday 30th July: 6:00 am to 9:00 am and 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm

Sunday 31st July: 6:00 am to 9:00 am and 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm

IMP Note:
a) This program is open to all above 14 years of age.
b) Attendance is compulsory for all the sessions.
c) Participants should come in empty stomach condition (Feel free to call for Clarifications).
d) Comfortable clothing. If they are made of cotton then it will be very good for the practices that you will be learning.

e) Bring Yoga mat (compulsory) and cushion (if necessary).


Terms & Conditions

1. Please maintain the empty stomach condition which means

  • Full meal - 4 hours gap
  • Snack (if skipped a meal) - 2 1/2 hours
  • Beverage - 1 1/2 hours gap. A glass  or two of water is OK (you can add honey or fresh lemon juice to water if you want)
  • Cigarette - 45 minutes
  • Alcohol - 10 hours

 

2. Following people should not practise Yogasanas.

  • pregnant women
  • people with serious back diseases

 

3. People with Hernia can not practise certain lying down asanas. For more information and queries, please call.

 

4. People with following conditions should consult a doctor before practicing Yogasanas.

  • Artificial joint replacement
  • Recent surgeries (6 months)
