About The Event

Dilbert.com

Problem: You have the idea. But not the time. Quitting your job is just not possible at the moment. You don't have enough like-minded folks to have your back, Jack.

Solution: We're the people, Jack. Let us meet during the weekend. Work on your idea, create a prototype. You don't quit your job and get a chance to validate & build your idea. Uber-cool?

What is Startup Garage?

Startup Garage is a weekend program focused on the first phase of launching a startup – validating the idea, finding a team and building a prototype. The program brings together developers, designers, marketers and startup enthusiasts to share ideas, form teams, build products and launch startups. Click here to see the structure of the program.

Who should attend Startup Garage?

  • Someone with an idea they’d like to validate and work on; Or
  • Someone without an idea, but is curiously passionate to do a web startup or be a part of one.

What sort of ideas are being invited?

In this edition we are focusing on building some really exciting web startups. If you are not sure if you should attend it or not, simply write to us here.

When and where?

The Pune edition of the Startup Garage would take place on 29th April/ 30th April/ 1st May 2011. Drop us an email at i[at]Lpad.in, if you have any questions.

How much does it cost?

Startup Garage costs Rs. 2,000/-*, i.e. somewhat equivalent to the cost of 2-3 night outs. Not a huge trade-off to get your start-up off the ground. Right? The cost also includes 7 meals, snacks & all the coffee in the world.

*Students get a straight 50% discount. But there are very limited seats for students

Is it worth it?

If you want it to be. We're experienced entrepreneurs and mentors to many young promising startups. And we are willing to work on something you are passionate about.
