Two teams with contrasting status: The 7th match of IPL season IV will be played out at Sawai Mansingh Stadium in the Pink City between the native Rajasthan Royals and the Delhi Daredevils. Popular beliefs say that after having defeated Deccan Chargers in Hyderabad, the Rajasthan will give a Delhi Daredevils a serious gash. But what about Virender Sehwag whose hard hitting acumen and matured leadership has set a distinct mark in the cricket world? Well, nothing can be predicted till the match begins. Rajasthan ruling the show: When Amit Paunikar substituted Watson and took up the bat alongside Rahul Dravid in the opening, the duo stood their names and battered Ojha and Steyn of Deccan Chargers. Added was Johan Botha’s landing at the third and his justice to the position. Shane Warne, the captain himself showed the best spinning as he had always been. Siddarth Trivedi and Amit Singh were the betting cards for the captain and they proved their worth beyond satisfaction. Winning the Tuesday match does not appear a concern for the team if its performance is to be relied on. But Sehwag is sure to showcase his leadership quality tomorrow.
Tough time for Delhi: True it is that Delhi Daredevils lost the ground to Mumbai Indians in the Saturday evening match. But critics are of the opinion that such a fall was catapulted by Delhi’s over-reliance on the Sehwag-Warner opening. After these two were sent back before putting up the expected show, the middle order easily succumbed to throws of Malinga. Finch and Pathan also betrayed the faith Delhi had put on them. When DD plays against RR tomorrow, the batting tragedy will be looming large. But Morne Morkel’s bowling was an exception to the group. But still the team can do well if Shewag tries some new formula. He must calibrate the fast and accurate deliveries of Morkel and provide an impetus to the middle order.

Prediction: But Delhi may find it challenging to beat the disciplined men of Rajasthan. Delhi must gear its performance if it wants to make it to the top fours. Delhi’s prospect seems more eclipsed as the opponent will have the home field advantage. But let us not belittleDelhi until the match starts.
