Dr. Ian Procter was a member of the team that developed the PRINCE Project Management Methodology on behalf of the OGC. Dr. Ian has been involved in training and consultancy in PRINCE since the launch of version one in 1989. Ian is an accredited PRINCE trainer and developed all the material used on the accredited PRINCE2 training courses offered by UNICOM, UK.
Dr. Ian was also a member of the working party that established the syllabus and regulations for the Information Systems Examination Board (ISEB) Certificate in Project Management qualification

The course is suitable for any organisation or individual seeing the need for a controlled approach to managing its projects from any discipline, including: Project Managers, Project Support, Team Members. The PRINCE2TM method is flexible and adaptable for any type and size of project. It offers an excellent management foundation for any member of staff; no prior Project Management knowledge is necessary.
Precourse Reading :
There is some pre-course preparation requiring approximately 15 hours study. The material is supplied as a computer-based course which can be used on any PC with a web browser. Connection to the internet is not required. The pre-course material covers the differences between line management and project management followed by an overview of the PRINCE2TM method. Self-test material is included. Also we will provide the registered candidate an access to APM group website for some other precourse study material before attending the course.
