How to Reach:-

By Air :-
Bhuntar, which is 52 km away from Manali, is the nearest airport. Taxi services are available from Bhuntar to Manali, which costs about Rs. 700- Rs1000. Bhuntar is well connected to Delhi by air. The airliners that take you to this Airport are Indian Airlines, Kingfisher airlines, MDLR Airlines and Jagson Airlines, operating flights from Delhi and Chandigarh to Kullu.

By Road:-

Kullu/Manali is well connected to Delhi. Take an overnight bus from Delhi and you will reach Kullu/Manali in 12 - 14 hours. 

Manali to Delhi:-
Like the onward journey, buses leave from Manali to Delhi between 4 and 5 p.m. Your tentative arrival at Delhi may be anywhere between 6 a.m and 10 a.m. Plan your onward journeys only post noon giving enough buffer for bus delays.

Information About Pin Parvati Pass Trek:-

Pin Parvati Pass trek is known as a very tricky pass as it falls on high altitude and covered under frozen snow mountain for almost whole year. Uncertain rainfall makes the trekking area slippery and increase the risk factor. 

Pin Parvati Pass is named after the pass link of Parvati Valley of Kullu to Pin Valley in Spiti. The journey starts from Kullu and ends in Manali taking 11 days adventurous trip. The exciting part of this trek falls in the abundant beauty of nature with attractive landscape, lush greenery, intense alpine forest, wild colorful blossoming flowers and north terrestrial sceneries. 

The trekking starts from driving to Barsheni Village from Kullu. While trekking to Rudranath and camp followed by Khirganga to Tunda Bhuj and Thakur Kuan at height of 13400 high trekkers discover the barren valleys of Himachal, attractive villages, bright sea cliff, and high chilling waterfalls.

Khir Ganga is devoted to lord Shiva where devotees takes a deep bath in hot tank water. The pass gives a striking view on one side of a colorful hue of mountains flanked by the snowy peaks and the barren Spiti valley on the other. This spectacular trek further continuous to trekking at Mantalai Lake to Base Camp and Parvati side Base camp to Pin side Base camp over Pin Parvati pass at 17,500ft high after trekking for 8 hours. 

While trekking from Pin valley side camp to Wichkurung Thatch, in the trek way you will find Pin Valley National Park and Great Himalayan nationalized Park which are well known all over the world for snow leopards and Himalayan birds respectively. 

Further continuing the trek to biggest pin valley in Himachal Mud. The route to Mud is full of muddy area and gives an outstanding vision while on foot to Kaza. The adventurous trek ends here and trekkers travel back to Manali and make a pleasant overnight stay here. Trekkers also explore few ancient Buddhist monasteries of the region.

The trekking is made easier because of easy transport facility as it is well connected to airways and roadways.

Day 1: Getting to the base camp – Kaza
Day 2: Acclimatization day at Kaza
Day 3: Drive from Kaza to Mudh village; trek from Mudh to Tiya
Day 4: Tiya to Pin valley shepherd camp
Day 5: Shepherd camp to Upper Pin Base Camp
Day 6: Pin Base camp to Pin Parvati pass to Parvati base camp 
Day 7: Pin Parvati B.C to Mantalai Lake
Day 8: Mantalai Lake to Odi Thach campsite 
Day 9: Odi Thach to Tunda Bhuj 
Day 10: Tunda Bhuj to Kheerganga
Day 11: Kheerganga to Bursheni; Depart from Bursheni

Detailed Itinerary:-

Meet at Manali Refer to the ‘getting there’ tab for details on how to reach Kaza. Stay overnight at Kaza.

Day2: Acclimatization day at Kaza
Acclimatization day at Kaza. Local sight seeing and orientation walk.

Day 3: Drive from Kaza to Mudh village; trek from Mudh to Tiya
From Kaza, drive down to Mudh village which is at a lower altitude. The drive will take you about hours and covers a distance of 49km. Once you reach Mudh village start trekking to Tiya. You will reach Tiya in about 5 hours. 

Day 4: Tiya to Pin valley shepherd camp
Start early in the day and follow the left banks of the Pink river. You will need to cross the river, so we insist on an early start. The trail ascends a moraine and goes all the way up to a shepherd campsite. Camp here for the night.

Day 5: Shepherd camp to Upper Pin Base Camp
Trek to the higher grounds, which will lead you to the base of the pass. Camp for the night beside the glacial line.

Day 6: Pin Base camp to Pin Parvati pass to Parvati base camp 
Start early in the day as this is the pass crossing day. Cross over to Parvati valley and descent down until you leave the snow line. Camp at Parvati base camp, which is a small moraine ridge. This is a suitable camping spot.

Day 7: Pin Parvati B.C to Mantalai Lake
This day is an entirely downhill moraine hike. Descend for 12 km till you reach the Mantalai lake. camp for the night.

Day 8: Mantalai Lake to Odi Thach campsite 
This day consists of a scenic 9 km downhill hike all the way to the famous meadows of Odi Thach.

Day 9: Odi Thach to Tunda Bhuj 
A long, beautiful day of trekking passing by Pandav Pul (Pandav Bridge) river crossing and camping grounds of Thakur Kuan. 

Day 10: Tunda Bhuj to Kheerganga
Today the trek would cover a height of 10, 500 ft and it will take five hours to complete. The trail is a gorgeous one on grazing lands amidst silver birch trees. You will also see a string of waterfalls on your way. And the view is incredible. This route is travelled mainly by shepherds with their farm animals. Therefore, the trail is muddy and fallen trees might further slow you down a little. You will come across three make shift bridges at three intervals.

Day 11: Kheerganga to Bursheni; Depart from Bursheni
Trek for 7 km from Kheerganga to Bursheni. You will reach Bursheni around 11am. The trek ends at Bursheni. Plus Vallry Adventure will arrange for transportation from Bursheni to Kullu. The cost of which will be additional and is to be paid to the drivers directly. It takes roughly 3 hours to reach Kullu. You can take the afternoon bus from Kullu to Delhi the same day.
