Chandra Shekhar Reddy Kundur
Chandra Shekhar Reddy Kundur, a General Partner with Ventureast APIDC, has extensive cross-continent education, business and entrepreneurial experience.He holds a B.E. (Mechanical Engineering) from Osmania University, Hyderabad and a postgraduate Diploma in Management (Marketing & Finance) from IIM, Bangalore. Additionally, he holds a Master of Management degree (Marketing, Finance & Corporate Strategy) from the Kellogg School of Management at the Northwestern University in Illinois, USA. He has been actively involved in the venture capital arena as a member of the Board of Directors of the APIDC Venture Capital from 1995 till 2004. Prior to that, as an Assistant Brand Manager for the Procter & Gamble Company in Cincinnati, Ohio, he was part of the brand management team responsible for one of P&G’s largest-ever detergent product introductions, Tide Liquid. Previously, as a marketing executive with Asian Paints in Mumbai, he initiated a national campaign introducing a new brand of automotive paint in India.
Mr. Kundur is a member of the A. P. State Biotechnology Advisory Committee. He has served as an advisor on a variety of diversified ventures in India, including the international trading of oil chemicals, and been a consultant to numerous small business start-ups. He co-founded a multi-cuisine restaurant in Hyderabad that served foods representative of those found along the ancient Silk Route. He has made angel investments in IT and biotechnology companies in India.
He has been an active participant, including as a member of the Board of Governors, in the continuing development and enhancement of the Hyderabad Public School system in Hyderabad, India. His other activities include yoga and marathon running.

Kartik Srivatsa is the investment manager for SONG Investment Advisors. Kartik joins SONG from Lightspeed Venture Partners, a global venture capital firm where he was a founding member of the India practice. At Lightspeed, Kartik was responsible for sourcing and evaluation of deals across a number sectors such as technology,education, financial services and business services, and was involved in Lightspeed’s first non-technology India investment in ItzCash, a prepaid cash card company. Prior to Lightspeed, Kartik was a consultant with McKinsey and Company, advising corporations in the oil and gas, cleantech ,and information technology sectors across strategy, operations and organization functions. He has also spent time with Acumen Fund, a social venture fund, in helping them launch their energy portfolio. Kartik received his B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering and M.Tech in Energy Technology, both from the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras where he was awarded the Shankar Dayal Sharma Prize for all-round achievement.

He has also worked at various technical and management levels for IBM and Hughes Network Systems.
He is a founder and Managing Director of Mentor Partners, one of the most successful early stage mentoring and venture funds in India. He brings several years of experience in the entrepreneurial world to help his portfolio companies achieve their maximum potential. He earned a Bachelor of Technology from IIT Madras, and a MS in Industrial Engineering & MBA from University of Southern California. He is a founding member of PAN-IIT and Charter Member of the TiE organization.
