About The Event

The fundamental purpose of this is to discuss how proactive practice and health care systems can improve patient safety. The multidisciplinary invigorating learning sessions will involve participants from all areas of the health care continuum including: clinical and administrative leaders, practitioners, health care, academics, health care regulators, as well as patients and caregivers.

An opportunity to reflect, think and learn the best from others

Patient safety is a thought provoking and a challenging global issue both for developed and developing countries. “First, do no harm” has always been the pillar of medicine. However, unintentional harm does occur at all levels of the health system, both public and private.  Despite the recognition that patient safety is a fundamental part of the drive to improve quality of care, insufficient resources are invested to address the problem in a concerted and consequential manner.

No country, developed or developing, could claim to have fully addressed the problem of patient safety. To prevent these errors to a great extent we need to stand up for patient safety, and join hands to make this earth a safe place to live in.
