International Conference on Issues and Challenges in Networking,Intelligence and Computing Technologies (ICNICT, 2011) @ Ghaziabad on September 2nd & 3rd,2011

About The Event

Krishna Institute of Engineering and Technology (KIET), Ghaziabad, INDIA in association with Computer Society of India (CSI) Ghaziabad Chapter is organizing a two days International Conference on Issues and Challenges in Networking,Intelligence and Computing Technologies (ICNICT, 2011) on 2-3rd September, 2011.

The main objective of the Conference is to stimulate and facilitate active exchange, interaction and comparison of approaches, methods and ideas related to specific topics, both theoretical and applied, in the general areas related to the networking, intelligence and computing technologies.

ICNICT, 2011 conference will comprise of talks delivered by experts drawn from Academia, Government Organizations, Industry and technology leaders and parallel technical sessions. We have already started interaction with Software Industry Leaders from Microsoft, IBM, Oracle and others in this regard to make the event a success.

Targeted audience of this Conference would be representatives from Academia, Industry and Government Organizations who are involved or have interest in Computing Technologies and its applications. Research scholars and students would also be encouraged to take part in this Conference.

After the conference, selected papers may be invited for a special issue of International Journal of Advanced Research in Computer Science (IJARCS) and Ubiquitous Computing and Communication Journal(UbiCC).

Krishna Institute of Engineering and Technology (KIET), Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh has been providing quality education in the field of Engineering in India for the past more than 12 years. In its quest for excellence, KIET has taken a number of important initiatives, resulting which, today we are NAAC A Graded (for 5 Years), NBA Accredited and ISO 9001-2000 Engineering College. We have also been awarded UPTU Excellence Award by UP Technical University for quality education and world class infrastructure and other facilities.

Department of Computer Science was established in the year 1998, with the objective of imparting quality education in the field of Computer Science. Our department has a three-sided mission: to create knowledge, to disseminate knowledge, and to provide service to our society. With rapidly evolving technology and the continuous need for innovation the department has always produced quality professionals, holding important positions in Information Technology industry in India and abroad. The department has a relaxed and informal atmosphere - which we cherish. The Faculty is highly motivated, enthusiastic and easily approachable. Learning is not confined to class rooms.

Department is running B.Tech. (CSE), M.Tech. (CSE) and M.Tech. (CSE) - Modular. Department is having NBA Accreditation for its experienced and highly qualified faculty members, infrastructure and excellent academic and research oriented environment.

Department is involved in high quality research on several domains like Software Engineering, Image Processing, Pattern Recognition, Ad-hoc Networks and other emerging fields under Centre of Excellence in Software Research.

The conference ICNICT, 2011 will feature original research and industrial papers on the theory, design and implementation of the technologies in Networking, Intelligent and computing techniques,as well as demonstrations, tutorials, workshops and industrial presentations. Also it will enable the researchers in the various domains such as High Performance Computing, Bio-inspired Computing, Green Computing,Distributed Computing, Grid Computing, Networking, Image and Pattern Recognition to foster the exchange of concepts, prototypes, research ideas and the results of research work which could contribute to the academic arena and also benefit business, industrial community and in turn to the society. This will also help in improving decision making in organizations.

After the conference, selected papers may be invited for a special issue of International Journal of Advanced Research in Computer Science (IJARCS) and Ubiquitous Computing and Communication Journal(UbiCC).
