"India-Japan Global Partnership Summit 2011" is envisioned as a summit of two great nations - where various leaders of society from both nations can interact and exchange ideas in very conducive environment to produce a Micro Road Map from the Macro Vision which exists in the form of India-Japan Global Partnership.
To mark 10 years of the announcement of India-Japan Global Partnership Agreement, India Center Foundation is organizing this summit from September 5th - 7th in Tokyo, Japan. Apart from socio-cultural exchanges, this summit will provide a platform for face to face discussion between top business leaders, policy makers, opinion leaders and academicians from both nations.
Significance:
IJGPS 2011 is envisioned to forge a deeper and meaningful relationship between India & Japan- by bringing together opinion leaders, entrepreneurs, innovators, business leaders and policy makers to evolve a Micro road Map for the Macro Vision which exists in the form of the India-Japan Global Partnership.
The summit is a platform for both the nations along with their global partners, to create new visions, address challenges for peace, economic stability and growth, with a focus to create sustainable models of development which are energy efficient and environment responsible. The summit will also help strengthen the socio, economic, cultural and spiritual ties/bond between India and Japan and further greater regional integration.
At a broader level the summit will serve to enhance understanding at every level of the society in India and Japan and create a chain reaction of deeper and a closer cooperation in several areas of endeavour.
