The on-going liberalisation of the Indian economy and the world trade as well as rising consumer prosperity has thrown up new opportunities in the food processing sector. Growing at a rate of 14% since the last few years, the Indian Food Processing Industry has reached a stage of maturity where adopting state of art technologies have become imperative to meet the quantitative and qualitative challenges. The government incentives and consumer preferences are driving the food processors to invest in several new and expansion projects.
As the industry lines up large investments in world class technologies, the All India Food Processors Association (AIFPA) in partnership with Print-Packaging.com (P) Limited (PPCL) have mooted the Food Technology Show 2010 to provide a platform to the leading technology providers to showcase their offerings. The show will be held in a separate hall at the PackPlus 2010 exhibition as a part of the iconic event from 3-6 December at Pragati Maidan, New Delhi.
