Who can Attend :Project Leaders, Project Managers, Sr. Project Managers, Program Managers, Delivery Managers, Delivery Heads, Project Directors, EPM implementers and any one practicing project management and interested in using Microsoft Project 2007 for efficient execution of the projects. A familiarity with the project management concepts and MS-Office 2007 (like Excel) will be helpful. Prior knowledge of MS Project is not a must.
About the Workshop
Managing Projects successfully is a challenging endeavor. Using tools effectively allows the Project Manager to focus better on challenges on hand instead of spending time on organizing the information. MS Project is one of the most valuable tool to a Project Manager not only for providing reports to others but also for true use as a planning, tracking and monitoring tool. Many times lack of adequate knowledge and experience with the tool does not allow the managers to use the real strengths of the tool and it sometimes treated like another ordeal or overhead.
Through this workshop we will try to share the effective use of the tool and the insight developed by us with over 2 decades of experience with MS Project (since ver. 1.0 in 1987 till ver. 2010 ) and lifetime of experience in managing multimillion dollar projects around the world.
The Project Managers, leaders and EPM implementers will not only learn the features of MS Project 2007 but their use in different scenarios, simulated by our Delivery management experience. This training will allow them to manage the projects with greater command. They will also be able to interact with and influence the action and control by other stake holders to ensure to avoid surprises and manage the changes more powerfully.

Anil Pandit has managed software projects / delivery management function for international projects for over 25 years including employment at some of India’s best known / bluechip IT companies from project Manager to Delivery Head positions. He also has dedicated three years of his career to training and quality as head of these functions at a large IT company.
Anil has implemented EPM solutions at many organizations and has used/ trained projected managers in using MS project extensively since 1987 (ver 1.0).
Throughout his career Anil has focussed on development of his people through formal training and mentoring in all organizations he has worked with, Since 2006 Anil has successfully conducted corporate training programs with some of the leading software companies in Project Management (Estimation, Scheduling and Monitoring), Software Engineering, CMMI, Testing and Database Design.
Anil is Currently working as a freelance Project Manager and Business Technologist in the international BFSI market and has just completed an assignment with an UAE Bank supporting a large operation transformation project with 11 Sub-projects with MS Project 2007.
