Effective communication is not being grammatically correct, but getting desired result from boss, colleagues, customers, subordinates, spouse, children, parents, friends, relatives and audience in public speaking by communicating your ideas with confidence.

I realised developing effective communication is the vital stage in climbing the ladder of success. Wherever I go in this world, I don't carry my house or car or assets; I carry myself. The first impression is created from the appearance and second impression is from what comes out from my mouth, again it's not what comes out from my mouth but how it comes out is very important. Whatever comes out from my mouth can't be taken back. Therefore I must take utmost care while I am communicating to be an effective and successful communicator. I realized public speaking is a common source of stress for everyone, but the best way to develop oneself.
To be a better communicator, I have to be a better listener. Listening skills is one of the very difficult skills though it seems to be simple. Most of the time I am not listening but hearing and there is a compulsive thinking going inside my mind, like playing my own tape recorder. Most of the time I am preparing to reply or answer with little listening and understanding the other person’s ideas and perspectives. I have created such a strong wall of my views, opinions and perceptions that I am always preparing to defend my views and opinions to be best.
If I listen, then only I can understand the other person’s view. I must remember listening builds trust’.
