Several dances done to Blues music collectively fall under the umbrella of Blues Dancing. Dancing to blues music is such a wonderful experience, that words may not do justice to describe it.

In this workshop we will be exploring the slow and smooth spectrum of blues dances. In the end we also get to practice and social dance with fellow people!

 1) What to wear?
Ans: Comfortable clothing. Do not wear extremely tight or extremely loose clothing.

 2) Do I need to bring separate shoes for dancing?
Ans: As a general rule of thumb, dancers all over the world carry a separate pair of dance shoes which they wear on the dance floor. For this session, guys and girls may wear shoes with no or slight heels but slick (smooth) soles. Typically Suede soles work the best. NO SNEAKERS, NO FLIP FLOPS, NO FLOATERS please. You do not need to buy new shoes for the session, just bring the best you can. But as an etiquette do not use outdoor shoes on the dance floor(this avoids rain and dirt on the dance floor and accidental slips and falls)
