Regarding the speaker:
Prof Chandrasekhar Rath is a veteran philosopher, a writer, orator and scholar of national repute noted abroad with respect for his scholarship.
As an ardent devotee of The Mother & Sri Aurobindo, he is a well-known speaker on Sri Aurobindo Philosophy at various seminars of national & international level.
Professionally, he is an academic belonging to the discipline of Literature both Indian viz. Hindi, Bangla and Oriya and European literature through English. Besides he has wide range of studies in Indian philosophy, the Upanishads and the Bhagavad Gita and also the unfolding theoretical sciences of today. He is further interested in painting (bracket, oil, pastel, pencil) and sculpting (wood, soft stone, granite and clay).
His other awards include Hutch Crossword Book Award for 2004 (also known as The Booker Award of India), National Sahitya Academy Award (National Academy Of Letters) for significant contribution to Literature, State Sahitya Academy Awards, Kadmbini Saraswata-2010 awards etc. His translation of Acharya Shankaras commentary on Bhagavad Gita and his anthologies of poetry are shortlisted for similar recognitions. His papers, â€œThe Yogic Experiences of Mahima Dharmaand The Yoga of Sri Chaitanya Mahaprabhu are parts of the 100 vol work by The Indian Council of Philosophical Research. His papers are also published by Institute of Orissan Culture.
His talks include:

(2) Foundation Day oration in Ramakrishna Institute of Culture, Kolkata etc. His innumerable other talks include topics such as "The Four Great Utterances of the Upanishads", "From Man Human to Man Divine", "The Concept of The Supramental", "The Cultural Heritage of India as a Future Guidance" etc.
