The fort of Anjaneri has a great historical importance because it is the birthplace of Lord Hanuman. Lord Hanuman as we all know, was the son of 'Pavan' (the wind) and 'Anjani'. Therefore, the fort is called as 'Anjaneri'.
Anjaneri is situated in the ranges of Tryambakeshwar near Nasik. It is the only place in the world where one can find Anjani Mata temple which is devoted to 'Anjani Mata', mother of Lord Hamuman.
One can also see two pinnacles called 'Navara' and 'Navari' from Anjaneri village which is at a walking distance of 10 to 15 minutes from Anjaneri Phata.

Itinerary:
Get into the 4:52 local for kasara from CSMT. Reach Kasara by 07:15 pm and our vehicle will be ready for you to take you to the destination. En route we have some Evening refreshment at a hotel.
Reach the Base Village. Have a Short introduction round along with the Description for the Night Trek. start the adventurous journey of
ascending for the top. Reach the temple and its time to unload your bags and get relaxed. have your Dinner with some classic old school games. rest for the night. Anjaneri is also known for its cold atmosphere during summer as the temperature drops to less that 15 degrees at night.
Early morning wake up and start your trek for the top. Reach the top have Breakfast and explore the scenic beauty full with cloudy and windy atmosphere. Start descending back, reach Base Village and start proceeding back towards Mumbai. Enroute have lunch at the same hotel and reach Kasara by evening with some beautiful memories for life time.
Things to carry : Id Proof Compulsory
1. Good Quality Trekking / Sports Shoes.
2. Water (2ltr Minimum compulsory)
3. Electoral Powder / Energy bars / Dry Snacks (dry fruits. biscuits, plum cakes etc).
4. Raincoat / Pochos.
5. Personal First Aid kit / Medics as per prisription if any.
6. Toiletries (Napkin, facewash, tissue paper etc.).
7. Backpack to carry all stuffs. (No Handbags or Jholas will be allowed.)
8. Extra Pair of Clothes (as a backup if you need a change after the trek is over.)
9. Camera (Optional)
10. Torch with Extra pair of Batteries.
