ASSOCHAM and its members fully support the initiatives taken by Hon’ble Minister and the Ministry of Communications and IT, Government of India on the NTP 2011 and like to congratulate Ministry for such a forward looking and much needed initiative.
After the successful auction of Spectrum, the Indian Telecom Industry has mixed feelings of the challenges and opportunities which lies ahead. Sensing the mood of the Industry, ASSOCHAM Communications Convergence Committee proposes to organize the “7th ASSOCHAM GLOBAL TELECOM SUMMIT” on Thursday, 5th May, 2011 in New Delhi. This Annual Global Summit envisages providing an opportunity to Telecom andTechnology experts and investors to exchange their views on a host of issues concerning the industry and create a roadmap for future growth. This is being planned as a mega Summit for discussing some of the key issues for NTP 2011.
The Summit is likely to be inaugurated by Hon’ble Union Minister of Communications & IT, Government of India. ASSOCHAM proposes to invite Hon’ble Union Minister for Finance, Minister of State for Communications and IT, Vice Chairman Planning Commission, Government of India, key decision makers, opinion leaders and leaders from the Industry at this Global Telecom Summit.
