ABOUT THE ARTISTS:
VIKASH PAUL (HOST):
Vikash Paul is a stand-up comedian and a Chartered Accountant by qualification, and one who believes to be good with numbers but not with figures. With close to 150 shows in last 3 years of doing professional stand-up comedy, he has become a regular face at popular comedy venues across Chennai and has also performed in other cities like Bangalore, Kolkata, and Mumbai. Popularly known as 'joke writing wizard', a commerce graduate from SRCC (Delhi), he brings to the table a very refreshing funny take on everyday events from corporate life to personal life. His last stand-up video crossed 700k views on YouTube.
MERVYN ROZARIO:
Stand-up comedy is a walk in the park for Mervyn, which is why he walks around a lot during his performance. Former Salesman, who has now quit his job to take up stand-up comedy full-time. Mervyn is one of the in-form, upcoming comics in the Chennai comedy circuit and is winning hearts all over with his recent shows.
JAGAN KRISHNAN:
Jagan is a musical stand-up comedian, adept at performing in English and Tamil equally. Being one of the few comics to do so makes him an instant hit among the audience. His content is relatable, with little to no offensive language. He's performed on stages across Chennai to full houses, and more recently, hosted a one of a kind stand-up comedy talk show on Jaya TV named "Open Mic" which aired on New Year 2018. His latest standup clip went viral on Youtube.
MANOJ PRABAKAR:
He is a Chennai based stand-up comic, who while pursuing his engineering degree, found out that he has a great sense of humor and since then started writing jokes. However, he considers his degree as his biggest joke till date. He has so far performed in major cities like Chennai, Bangalore, Kochi, Hyderabad. On stage, he puts all his effort in trying to be funny, quirky and intelligent. Off stage, he is an introvert and mostly frustrated. His humorous take on his middle class up bringing, his work life, his education and everything else that frustrates him has been well received so far. He wishes to continue the same until he feels happy about himself one day.
